You enter this property through fifteen foot high Spanish wooden gates and marvel at the instant calm and privacy. The San Jacinto Mountains rise behind lush ficus trees which set off the classic Spanish hacienda style of this beautiful property; stucco walls, dark wood trim, and terra cotta roofing tiles complete the picture. Marilyn Monroe’s private bedroom, in the octagonal tower features a small balcony that faces the grand lawn, tennis court and provides unforgettable views of the majestic San Jacinto Mountains.
Inside are five luxurious bedrooms and six baths and five fireplaces. Marrying the notion of contemporary luxury and comfort to the opulence of the era was the essence of the extensive renovation of this picturesque and historic Hollywood Hideaway. The Great Room’s heavy plank and iron entry door lead to exposed beam ceilings, and the Media Room features a 43" plasma TV.
